Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Frequently Asked Questions for clear answers during a difficult time.

What exactly does Pax Aeternum do?

Pax Aeternum provides custom-written eulogies and memorial tributes crafted with dignity, emotional clarity, and truth. You share memories and details about your loved one, and I shape those into a tribute that can be read at a funeral, memorial service, celebration of life, or private gathering.

Do I need to have all the details ready before I contact you?

Not at all. Many families reach out while still processing everything. The process is designed to be gentle and guided. You can share as much or as little as you’re able, even a few bullet points are enough to begin.

How does the process work?

The process follows four simple steps:

  1. Share Memories — You complete a short inquiry and interview form.
  2. Crafting the Tribute — I shape your memories into a clear, steady narrative.
  3. Review & Refine — You review the draft and request any changes.
  4. Final Delivery — You receive a polished tribute ready to be spoken aloud.
How long does it take to receive the first draft?

Most first drafts are delivered within 24–48 hours, often sooner depending on the complexity and the amount of detail provided.

Can I request revisions?

Yes. Revisions are a normal and expected part of the process. Most families request small adjustments — a phrase here, a memory there — and I make those changes quickly and cleanly.

What if I’m not sure about the tone I want?

You don’t need to decide that upfront. During the interview process, I help you identify the tone that best reflects your loved one, warm, steady, humorous, formal, spiritual, or a blend. The goal is always a tribute that feels true.

Do you work with military or veteran families?

Yes. Pax Aeternum is veteran-founded, and I regularly assist families honoring service members. I can incorporate service history, traditions, and honors with accuracy and respect. Your Resources page already includes links to VA and military funeral programs, which many families find helpful.

Can you help if English isn’t my first language or if I struggle to write?

Absolutely. Many families come to me because writing feels overwhelming during grief. My role is to carry that weight for you and ensure the tribute is clear, steady, and easy to read aloud.

How do I begin?

You can start by completing the Initial Inquiry & Interview Form on your site. It’s short, simple, and designed to guide you through the memories that matter most.

Do you offer rush services?

Yes. If you’re facing a tight timeline, I can prioritize your tribute and ensure you receive a polished version in time for the service.
