Pax Aeternum – Meet the Writer
A steady hand. A clear voice. Words that honor a life.
About David Six
I founded Pax Aeternum with a simple belief: every life deserves to be honored with clarity, dignity, and truth. For thirteen years, I served on the front lines of the Cold War as an Army intelligence analyst. Later, I spent over a decade as a Microsoft field engineer, solving complex problems with calm precision. Through every chapter of my life, one skill has remained constant, the ability to listen deeply, understand quickly, and translate complexity into clear, meaningful language.
Writing eulogies is not a business to me. It is a calling. Families come to me in moments of shock, grief, and overwhelm. My role is to steady the ground beneath them, gather the threads of a life, and weave them into a tribute that feels honest, warm, and unmistakably theirs.
Why I Do This Work
I’ve stood at enough gravesides to know how hard it is to speak when your heart is breaking. I’ve watched families struggle to find the right words, or any words at all. I’ve also seen how powerful it is when a tribute captures the truth of a life, the humor, the flaws, the victories, the quiet moments that mattered most.
Pax Aeternum exists to give families that gift:
- A voice when they feel voiceless
- A steady guide when everything feels unsteady
- A tribute that carries their loved one home
My Approach
Every tribute begins with listening. I ask gentle, structured questions that help you remember without feeling overwhelmed. I look for the details that reveal who your loved one truly was, not just what they did, but how they lived, how they loved, and how they will be remembered.
From there, I craft a tribute that is:
- Clear and grounded — no clichés, no filler
- Emotionally resonant — warm without being sentimental
- True to the person — their voice, their humor, their story
- Easy to deliver — written for the ear, not the page
You don’t need to have the “right words.” You just need to share what you can. I’ll take it from there.
Honoring Veterans
As a veteran myself, I understand the weight of service, the meaning of rank, and the traditions that accompany a military farewell. When families ask for a tribute that reflects military life, I write with accuracy, respect, and lived experience. Whether your loved one served for two years or twenty, their service will be honored with the dignity it deserves.
A Personal Note
I live in Toledo, Ohio, where my work, my family, and my community keep me grounded. My spouse, Faye, is my compass, steady, brilliant, and the quiet force behind everything I build. Together, we believe in showing up for people when it matters most.
If you’re here because you’ve lost someone, I’m truly sorry. I can’t take away the grief, but I can help you carry the story.
Let’s Begin
If you’re ready, I’m here. Share what you can. I’ll help you find the words.
